Four Tet’s Text label releasing Hagop Tchaparian’s debut LP

Fusing techno with field recordings.

British-Armenian producer Hagop Tchaparian is releasing his debut album — Bolts — via Four Tet’s Text imprint this October.

The record sees Tchaparian weaving field recordings gathered across Armenia and the Mediterranean over the past 15 years through techno.

Bolts is adorned with a shot by photographer and skateboarder Atiba Jefferson.

Four Tet has also revealed he’s releasing new music soon, with two tracks, ‘Mango Feedback’ and ‘Watersynth’, set to debut this week.
