Larry Heard delves into personal archive for new series of releases

Exploring the Chicago house legend’s vaults.

Larry Heard is releasing a new series featuring music from his own archive, starting this December via his own Alleviated Records imprint.

The series will focus on previously unreleased tracks, as well as music that was never released on Alleviated Records.

Chains (Ft. Ron Wilson):

Vault Sessions 1 will mark the first release, and features four tracks originally for Heard’s 1988 album under his Fingers Inc. alias, Another Side.

It follows Alleviated Records’ reissue of Heard’s 1994 LP Sceneries Not Songs, Volume 1 – one of our favourite releases in October.
