“#blackradio, for music lovers.”
No Signal radio station is part of a new crowdfunding campaign to raise money for a permanent broadcast studio, staff and programming.
The initiative is lead by High Roller – the parent company of No Signal and London party RECESS.
No Signal has drawn over 129,000 listeners from across 166 countries during international Coronavirus lockdowns over the past 3 months.
The station has gained particular recognition for its #NS10v10 clash series, as well as its uplifting Friday and Saturday night sets.
Now aiming to establish a physical home, High Roller has split its £450,000 goal into three brackets, with £100,000 enough to cover studio rent for 1-2 years, £300,000 enough to cover 2 years rent and the salaries of staff members, while the full £450,000 would allow for all of the above, plus providing the studio with topline equipment and design.
“With your help, we aim to step forward and create homegrown Black British content that resonates with communities around the world. We want to create a sustainable home for the future of #BlackRadio and entertainment,” explains the High Roller Team.
