Anyone with expertise with ECdesigns PowerDACs?

I’m most likely on of the few SBAF members with an ECdesigns dac in my home. They do not appear highly regarded on this website. About 6 years in the past I purchased their $600 MOS 16 dac and whereas it did not beat out my higher, costlier dacs, it sounds good and ended up in my third system.
