Benn Jordan’s Video About Vinyl Has Ruined Vinyl For Me.

I’m 17 years outdated. I’ve a average vinyl setup: ~200lps and a DP-47F with a AT PTG-33. Around 8 months in the past, I watched Benn Jordan’s video on the toxicity of vinyl records, each for our well being and the atmosphere. Although the factors are debatable, I simply can’t shake the concept. Every time I play an lp I take into consideration the environmental injury it’s inflicting, I ponder if it has lead components, or if it’s off-gassing and releasing VOCs into my room. I don’t even need my LPs in my room anymore, I’m afraid to sleep with the home windows closed. I make myself suppose it’s inflicting injury to my mind/physique… I understand how ridiculous it sounds, however I simply can’t management it. I’ve been trying into digital codecs, however nothing comes near the sensation of vinyl and the scale/high quality of the album jackets. I need to promote my records, however I do know I’ll remorse it later. I don’t know if there’s something flawed with me, or if my fears are, even just a little bit, justified.
