There are only three controls on the front of the unit; the volume knob, which is motorized with an accompanied remote control, and an on and off power switch, with an input selection knob. All control switches are in a gold plated shiny gold plated finish. The volume knob has an embedded red LED indicator light that is visible during the operation of the unit.
