Carl Cox launches new spotify playlist

Carl Cox announced today that he will offer a new playlist on Spotify that that will provide music lovers with the most upfront releases on a weekly basis. The Carl Cox Playlist will consist of tracks from Carl’s personal arsenal and, for the old-school, he’ll also be dropping in a classic each week. Fans can expect to hear the tracks that Carl would normally be playing out, we a couple of surprises here and there.

“I wanted to do this playlist to share all the amazing music I get on a daily basis and to really build strength in our community in these challenging times. There are so many people around the world that love this music that it was just time for me to open the vaults and create a playlist that represents the dance music genre as a whole. The Carl Cox Playlist will be going live each Wednesday and, following a soft launch last week of his new single “PURE”, which has already garnered over 55K initial streams. It is expected that Carl’s playlist will become a dominate force on Spotify and streams will push into the stratosphere once officially launched on April 1st.

When asked why he wanted to do this now Carl had this to say – “I wouldn’t do it if I didn’t think it would be the absolute best playlist for techno-flavoured dance music out there, and that’s what I think I’ve created.”
