Morten Lindberg Grammy Nomination and ADM Files

Hi Guys, simply need to put up about this one as a result of it is so cool. Morten actually is the OG of immersive audio and he is to this point forward of his time with respect to releasing recordsdata for buy/obtain. He was simply nominated for a Grammy within the Producer of the Year, Classical class. So, what does he do? He releases an "album" containing his Atmos ADM recordsdata! It’s known as "2L reference tracks 2023 ADMs" and is on the market right here (hyperlink). The description says, "This assortment incorporates reference tracks from the 2L label in Dolby Atmos. The ADM recordsdata are supposed for studio professionals and require a Dolby Atmos Renderer." Yes, this is not simply any format, it is ADMs that want the Dolby Atmos Renderer, which I’ve bought.
What’s actually cool about ADM recordsdata is that they have not gone by way of the MLP encoding course of for Atmos distribution and enjoying them within the Dolby Atmos Renderer reveals actually neat details about how the monitor was created (location of objects, peaks, channel ranges, and many others…). I’ll put a screenshot beneath of 1 monitor I’m listening to now. I do know the put up is not for everybody, however noting in life is :~)
