  By Dave McNair Photos by Eric Franklin Shook Last November at the 2019 Capital Audio Fest, I had a fantastic time hearing numerous amazing systems and meeting some great folks. One of the many rooms I enjoyed was hosted by Well Pleased AV and consisted of an Innuos music server, Vinnie Rossi integrated amp, and a pair of attractive yet modest looking Qln Prestige Three speakers. I found the sound to be instantly compelling.  My friend and fellow audiophile Grover Neville sat down with me to listen. After hearing about thirty seconds of music we glanced at each other with that look that said, “There is something really special going on here.” I think I mumbled something like “These are perfect.” Fast forward a few months. Mark Sossa, the American distribution partner for Qln, was extraordinarily kind enough to drive a pair down from northern Virginia to my place in North Carolina. I met him at Ember Audio + Design so owner Chris Livengood could have a quick demo before setting them up at my place for more extended listening.
