Review: AGD Audion Mk III Monoblock Amplifier
The rest issue talked about above led to easy listening with out fatigue. And whereas the Mk I and Mk II already had a proverbial silent black background, the Mk III was nearly spooky in that regard, although the Stack Audio Auva footers, reviewed elsewhere on this problem, actually contributed in that regard when used on my supply parts and audio system. The noise ground has dropped to a claimed -140dB with out being A-weighted. This is extremely low for a Class D switching amplifier. Yet I by no means felt like I used to be consuming distilled water as a result of the decision and excellent transparency of the Audion revealed a wholesome dose of room tone or ambient noise from the recording venue. The Audion put me within the venue quite than a sterile musical chamber. I usually felt like I used to be there, someplace that the music was coming from.
