Unable to ship audio to Lenovo Smart Clock Essential
I’m utilizing the say()
command to ship speech to Google Home units within the dwelling. This works wonderful for Google Home Nest Hub (with display screen) that we’ve got and a Sonos Beam, however doesn’t work for the 3x Lenovo Smart Clock Essential units we’ve got.
I’m utilizing the Google TTS service and have tried quite a few totally different voices. Eg.
say("Just testing", "googletts:enAUNewsE", "chromecast:chromecast:bedside_3")
When the command runs, the machine makes the “announcement chirp” which usually preceeds the voice message – however then nothing. For the identical units, I can stream audio from Spotify cellular apps so Chromecasting on the whole appears to work for these.
Is this a bug in OH? How can I begin to debug this?
