The Vinyl Factory has launched a restricted collaborative vinyl by UVA and Daniel J. Thibaut.

Chromatic, which was commissioned by 180 Studios as a part of the UVA exhibition Synchronicity, is centred across the titular instrument, the Chromatic.

A software-driven optical instrument that explores the concord of kind and the interplay of color and sound, the Chromatic has a computationally programmed system that assembles and re-assembles summary formations and harmonic sequences.

Light itself is the instrument in Chromatic as color frequencies are expressed by means of corresponding sound frequencies in a synesthetic transmutation that yields each harmonious and discordant outcomes. Chromatic‘s rating consists by the Belgian composer, music producer and conductor Daniel J. Thibaut.

Limited to 100 copies–every with a novel paintings–Chromatic is printed on 180-gram heavyweight white vinyl. The launch incorporates a hand-tipped positive artwork print created by UVA and every print is exclusive to each version. Chromatic is packaged with a bespoke black foiled outer sleeve and die-cut interior sleeve.
