Auction! Michael Hobson Classic Records Personal Archive #1

Michael Hobson’s Classic Records personal archive #1 will be auctioned off during May/June 2021. Their press release says, “From the time Michael Hobson started Classic Records in 1994 until it was sold to Chad Kassem’s Acoustic Sounds in 2010, Hobson methodically collected “MH Personal ARCHIVE” copies of every Classic Records release in various versions including different vinyl formulas, colored vinyl, 180 gram, 200 gram, Flat profile, Super Vinyl Profile and 45rpm editions. As with all archives, no matter how hard the Collector (Hobson) tries, inevitably a few things slip away or develop legs and escape, so the bottom line is that few collections are ever complete. The MH Personal Archive is only missing a few items and as such is undoubtedly one of the most complete collections of Classic Records output in existence.”
