audio messages on MacOS

Hi all,
I’m working MacOS Sonoma Version 14.2.1 on a 2020 Mac Mini..
Ever because the Sonoma replace, if an audio message has a transcript, I’m unable to play the message on my Mac. If there is no such thing as a transcript, I can play the message completely nice.
Has anyone discovered a piece round for this? Perhaps extra usefully, a technique to flip off audio message transcripts?
