The electronics of Borg.Audio’s Christian Gunther appear to be they’re straight off the bridge of the Starship Enterprise. With their retro-futuristic visible fashion, you’re certain to both love or hate them. Though I didn’t hear them at Gunther’s static show, I’m already within the first camp.

Gunther premiered various merchandise at High End Munich, together with the Aria phonostage ($24,000), Vero phonostage/recorder ($24,000), Solo headphone amplifier ($17,000), Solo Base preamp/streamer/recorder ($12,000), Solo 3X mono amplifiers and lively crossover ($15,000 apiece), and Mass built-in amplifier/streamer/recorder ($60,000).

Proving he’s one useful and prolific producer, Gunther carried his total line to the present, together with the Dune preamp/streamer/recorder ($25,000), Warp preamp/streamer/recorder ($27,000), Zoom preamp/streamer/recorder ($55,000), Stereo built-in amplifier/streamer/recorder ($60,000), Dune Mono Amplifier ($20,000), Warp Mono amplifier ($20,000), and Edge Mono Amplifier ($50,000).

“You will discover us humiliated, squeezed in a very small house,” Gunther wrote beforehand. “We are being disciplined for final 12 months, once we had, as all the time, a beneficiant house. But I couldn`t attend as I had a automobile accident on my method to the present.”

Fully recovered, Gunther responded to questions from inquiring attendees, together with me.

“Old college hi-fi. Perpetual” is Gunther’s slogan. Engage!
