Help with vinyl ripping.

I’m new to this discussion board and new to analogue. I’ve simply collected my outdated vinyl records consisting of 7inch and LP’s. I wish to "rip" these to my pc for playback on my DAP. A number of these aren’t out there, therefore digitizing them. I’m bout to purchase a REGA – Planar 3 fiftieth Anniversary Edition turntable as my place to begin.
