Hooke Lav Wireless/Recording Mic Launches

New York, NY (September 22, 2020)—Hooke Audio has launched the Hooke Lav, a wearable, dual-channel wireless microphone/recorder, available via KickStarter.

It offers Bluetooth 5.0 compatibility for 24-bit/48 kHz mono and dual channel D/A recording. Additionally, it sports 8 GB of onboard storage for continuous recording. It can also be used solely for standalone recording in Island mode, and provides up to 7 hours of continuous record time, with chargeable battery. The mic does not require an additional receiver; instead, the unit pairs via Bluetooth in both mono and dual-channel situations to any smartphone or Bluetooth-enabled equipment, and delivers the lowest-latency available (.043ms).
