Network Demands Composers Give Up Royalties

In what can be described by many as unfair to musical artists, the Animal Planet, Discovery Channel, Food Network, and HGTV (all owned by Discovery Networks) has enacted a new pay policy that beginning in 2020 music composers will have to give up USA airing performance royalties. In further amazement, this includes signing away collecting royalties on previous shows too!
