The Audio Industry Alliance My name is Michel Plante and I fell in love with hi-fi before I was even allowed to vote. I was so smitten by it that I promised myself that for the rest of my life I’d work in the audio industry. And I have — in retail, representation and distribution. I was a store manager, a director of sales and marketing for major distributors, and a business consultant. And now, in partnership with my tireless wife and with the support of an incredible team of hard workers, I’m also an audio show organizer. As you can probably guess, organizing major shows in large venues is not for the faint-hearted, but I feel compelled to do it because I’m committed to the audio industry — I want to help it succeed.
