Version 8.0 For SD Express Memory Cards

With faster speeds of Wi-Fi 6 and cell phone 5G for streaming and downloading music, the SD Association announced their SD 8.0 specification for SD Express memory cards. This version increases transfer speeds by using the popular PCI Express (PCIe) 4.0 specification delivering a maximum of nearly four gigabytes per second (4 GB/s) data transfer rate. This enables faster access and accurate playback of Hi-Res Music within Hi-Res Audio devices.
